Volunteers Archiving Neighborhood Incidents and Anomalies

You’ve seen it too. The lights that don’t blink the same way. The echo that came from the wrong direction. The sign that wasn’t there last week.

We’re here to witness, document, and share what the authorities will not.

The Department of Water and Power denies.

The city contains.

We observe.

V.A.N.I.S.H. is a vigilant network of Silver Lake residents tasked with collecting, preserving, and publicly releasing records of unexplained local phenomena.

We don’t claim to understand what’s happening. We are not enemies of the strange. Indeed, there are those amongst us who embrace it.

Above all, we seek transparency—for the neighborhood, and for ourselves.

The result of these efforts is what you know as:

The Silver Lake Files.

If you’ve seen something… you’re not alone.
Scan the code. Read the file. Report the anomaly.

What is V.A.N.I.S.H.?

We are a civilian-led, anomaly-tracking taskforce dedicated to investigating unexplained events in and around Silver Lake. You’ve seen our signs. You’ve scanned our codes. You’re reading this because something feels… off.

Why the QR Codes?

Each one marks a case. A disturbance. An event we’ve documented—but haven’t fully explained.

You may be the missing piece. You may have seen what we missed.

What We’re Asking:

  • Read the files

  • Walk the terrain

  • Report what you notice

Did you experience something strange and unsettling? Are you haunted by the paranoia of a mythical creature stalking you from the shadows? Responsible citizenry mandates the reportage of disturbances in the form below.
